The Concorso, from the Stuhrling Original’s Sportsmans series, comes incased in a polished 316L surgical grade stainless steel case with a beveled bezel, its finishing touch. The genuine carbon fiber dial features a date window at the 3 o’clock position. Large Arabic numerals are placed at the 6 and 12 o’clock positions with arrow pointers applied at all other positions. All hour markers and hour and minute hands have been treated with Super Luminova. Seconds markers are printed on the perimeter of the main dial pointed out by a sweep center second hand that boasts a color coded arrow head. Just beyond the main dial is the outer track chapter ring trimmed with gauge-like minute and second markers complementing the overall theme of the Concorso. On the flip side of the Stuhrling Concorso is a screwed-in exhibition case back that has been decorated with a checkered flag design akin to the carbon fiber weave on the face. The movement has been embellished with Pearlage and Cotes de Geneva treatments on the pillar plates and a Damier finish and Stuhrling signature on the rotor. Both the front and back are protected with a Krysterna Crystal which features a date magnifier on the front. The final accoutrement to the Concorso is the genuine leather strap with checkerboard embossing and contrast stitching. The strap closes securely on your wrist with a push button deployment clasp giving it the perfect finishing touch.
Krysterna Crystals
Krysterna is proprietary to Stuhrling Original and refers to the crystals that are used in its timepieces. Krysterna stems from the eyewear industry and has more strength over a spread surface area than sapphire. Krysterna crystals are more scratch resistant than mineral crystals and more shatter resistant than sapphire crystals.
The Concorso Family is part of the Octane Collection, a series of watches made for those with a strong competitive spirit and a need for speed. These timepieces are inspired by high octane competitive races. The dials and numerals are inspired by the instruments found in racecars.

nice but fragile Bought this watch last december. The looks is nice but a litle bit too light for automatic wacth. For the price cannot complain, for the looks especially the interesting blue cross leather band is amazing deal. The only problem the thing is very fragile, i only used it for 2 months and one day I clap so hard at meetings suddenly the mechanical loosen it self and not long after that all the gear just fell off. I used many mechanical watches from many brands with various prices and this is first…
