Review from a watch collector This is a great watch for the price. The open heart skeleton dial gives you a glimpse of the movement working. On the back of the case, there is a clear crystal that shows the entire movement. The top crystal is sapphire which is found in luxury brands for its scratch resistance. This is a very good deal for an automatic watch (it runs without battery, but with your wrist movement). The movement is a 4R38A, a classic but uncommon Seiko movement. It is a simple (no date) 24 jewel movement, but quite accurate and with hacking and hand-winding capability. It is in line with Seiko Superior watches in terms of precission.
