The Seiko SARB017 field watch is powered by the premium Seiko 6R15 caliber self-winding movement that can also be hand wound and hacked. It is the same caliber that powers many of the Seiko Prospex line of watches. The movement has a generous 50 hour power reserve. The case has a fine brushed finish and the green dial sports highly luminous goldtone hands and hour markers. A date display is shown at the 3 o’clock position. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal is used to protect the dial. The watch is water resistant to 200 meters. Note: The crown at 4:00 turns the inner (compass marked) bezel. Case is a mix of brushed and polished stainless steel.   1. Absolutely fantastic watch. I was able to get this watch secondhand and must say, it’s about as good as it gets. The green dial is beautiful and the gold Arabic numbers on it are raised and shine right off it. The bezel is pretty darn cool if you know how to use it as a general compass and the case is the usual Seiko quality. What separates it is the in house Seiko movement, anti shock and anti magnetic, the sapphire crystal, great lume, 200M WR, and 50 hr PR at this price! It’s amazing. I’d suggest getting a new strap…
